This Privacy Policy explains how DaneTrades ("DaneTrades", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when you visit danetrades.com, create or use a DaneTrades account, purchase a subscription or licence, connect a trading account, use the DaneTrades Cloud Copier or related trading tools, contact support, or otherwise use our websites, applications, software, and services (collectively, the "Service").
The Cloud Copier operates by connecting to trading platforms and brokers selected by you and processing the account, configuration, trading, and performance information needed to provide the features you choose to use.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

D) Broker and Platform Credentials
Some supported platforms require credentials, API keys, access or refresh tokens, session material, account passwords, or similar authentication information so that DaneTrades can connect to the account and perform the functions you request. Where the Service stores these credentials, they are stored in encrypted form and access is restricted to authorised service paths that need them to establish or maintain the relevant platform connection. Existing stored credentials are not displayed back through normal customer or administrator views.
E) Copier Configuration, Trading Activity, and Performance Information
To operate the Cloud Copier and related account features, we may process:
- copy links and master/follower account relationships;
- symbol mappings, sizing settings, filters, schedules, risk settings, stop-loss and take-profit settings, and configuration versions;
- orders, positions, trade events, copied actions, execution outcomes, rejections, timestamps, symbols, side, volume, prices, and platform-provided order or position identifiers;
- closed-trade history, realised profit or loss, commissions, swaps, fees, duration, and other information used to calculate performance;
- derived statistics and views such as return, drawdown, win rate, profit factor, recent trade information, and account or portfolio summaries;
- customer-safe diagnostic and operational evidence needed to explain what happened, troubleshoot failures, and protect the reliability of the Service.

- IP address, browser type, device or operating-system information, and approximate location derived from IP;
- website and app activity such as pages viewed, clicks, referring pages, and feature usage;

- anti-abuse and security signals, including hashed or tokenised identifiers where appropriate.
G) Support and Communications

- Support Assistant information described in sections 11 and 12 below.
H) Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar storage or access technologies for login and session support, preferences, security, site functionality, and, where used, analytics and service measurement. See section 9 below.
3) Where We Get Information From
We obtain personal information from:
- you directly, for example when you create an account, connect a trading account, configure a copier, make a purchase, or contact support;
- the broker, trading platform, prop-firm platform, or other account provider that you choose to connect to DaneTrades;
- payment providers in connection with purchases, subscriptions, refunds, disputes, and billing administration;
- our service providers where they provide security, delivery, analytics, support, or operational information about the Service.
4) How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- create and secure your DaneTrades account and workspace;
- connect, verify, maintain, and display the trading accounts you choose to add;
- operate the Cloud Copier according to the copy links, mappings, sizing, filters, and other settings you configure;
- send trading instructions to connected receiver accounts and record the result returned by the relevant platform;
- show Trade Activity, account information, performance analytics, and other product features;
- process purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, refunds, and billing administration;
- provide customer support, the Support Assistant, and service-related communications;
- monitor reliability, diagnose failures, prevent duplicate or unauthorised activity, and protect the security and integrity of the Service;
- measure and improve the Service, understand feature usage, and develop new features;
- comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, dispute-resolution, and security obligations;
- send marketing communications where permitted by law, subject to your right to opt out.
5) Legal Bases for Processing
Where UK or similar data-protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract: where processing is necessary to provide the account, subscription, Cloud Copier, connected-account, support, or other Service you request.
- Legitimate interests: where necessary to secure, operate, troubleshoot, measure, improve, and protect the Service, prevent abuse, administer our business, and understand product usage, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: where consent is required, including for certain marketing or non-essential cookies and similar technologies.
- Legal obligation: where processing is required for tax, accounting, regulatory, court, law-enforcement, or other legal requirements.
6) Cloud Copier and Connected Trading Platforms
The Cloud Copier cannot provide connected-account features without communicating with the broker or trading platform that you choose to connect. Depending on the platform and features you use, DaneTrades may authenticate to that platform on your behalf, request account or trading information, receive trade events and history, and submit order, modify, or close instructions generated from the copier settings you have configured.
Information sent to or received from a connected platform is also subject to that platform's own terms, privacy practices, and technical rules. DaneTrades is not responsible for the privacy practices of an independent broker, prop firm, or trading-platform provider.
7) Payments (PayPal and Stripe)
Depending on the product and payment route, we may accept payments through PayPal, Stripe, or another payment provider identified at checkout. When you pay, payment information is processed directly by the payment provider. We receive limited information such as customer or transaction identifiers, payment status, subscription information, and billing details needed for records, support, fraud prevention, and tax.
You can review the privacy policies of the payment provider you use, including PayPal and Stripe.
8) Sharing and Disclosures
We may share or make personal information available:
- to the broker, prop firm, or trading platform you choose to connect, where necessary to authenticate, read permitted account information, or carry out the functions you request;
- to hosting, database, infrastructure, security, and monitoring providers that help us operate the Service;
- to email and communications providers that deliver account, billing, support, or permitted marketing messages;
- to analytics and product-measurement providers where used;
- to payment processors and billing providers;
- to AI model providers where required to generate a Support Assistant response, subject to the safeguards described in section 11;
- to customer-support or ticketing providers when a support request is created or handed off;
- to professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or similar advisers where reasonably necessary;
- where required by law, court order, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, property, security, or the integrity of the Service;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, restructuring, or other business transfer, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell your personal information.
9) Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies where needed for authentication, sessions, security, fraud prevention, preferences, and functionality. We may also use analytics or measurement technologies to understand how the website and Service are used and whether product journeys are working as intended.
Where applicable law requires consent for a cookie or similar technology, we rely on consent for that use. You can also use browser or device controls to limit or remove cookies, although blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.
10) Data Retention and Deletion
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. In particular:
- DaneTrades account and profile information is normally kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterward where needed for support, security, legal, or dispute purposes.
- Order, invoice, payment, and subscription records are generally retained for up to 7 years where needed for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations.
- Broker or platform credentials are retained only while needed for the connected account or until they are replaced, revoked, or the relevant trading account is deleted. When you delete a connected trading account, its stored broker/platform credentials are revoked or deleted through the credential-security path without waiting for the normal operational-evidence retention window.
- When you delete a connected trading account or copy link, it is removed from normal customer and administrator product lists and stops being used for routing. Remaining detached copier logs or operational evidence associated with the deleted entity are normally purged after the configured short deletion window, which is generally 7 days and will not exceed 14 days unless a legal hold or another legal requirement applies.
- General technical logs and telemetry are typically retained for up to 90 days where needed for security, reliability, diagnostics, or service improvement, and may be retained longer in aggregated or non-identifying form.
- Support Assistant conversations are retained for up to 7 days as described in section 11 and can be deleted sooner by the customer.
- Security, fraud, legal, tax, accounting, and dispute records may be retained for longer where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. We minimise or detach customer information where practical.
We may retain aggregate or genuinely non-identifying statistics after underlying personal information has been deleted where those statistics no longer identify an individual.
11) Support Assistant Conversations
When you use the DaneTrades Support Assistant, we process the messages you submit and limited customer-safe information from your signed-in workspace that is relevant to the support issue. This can include trading account names, supported platform, customer-facing connection state, copier configuration status, billing capacity, symbol-map or sizing settings, recent Trade Activity outcomes, and bounded diagnostic information needed to explain the issue. We do not provide the assistant with readable broker passwords or stored secret values.
We use this information to respond to support questions, identify when human support is required, maintain conversation continuity, investigate failures, collect feedback, and improve the accuracy of our support service.
Support Assistant conversations and their bounded support context are retained for up to 7 days. You can delete a conversation sooner from the Support Assistant conversation history. After deletion or expiry, the transcript and stored conversation context are removed from the active support system. Non-identifying aggregate information, such as issue category, response time, whether the answer resolved the issue, or a sanitised knowledge-gap category, may remain for service measurement and improvement.
Authorised DaneTrades support administrators can review conversations during the retention period for customer support, safety, and quality improvement. Access is restricted and audited.
DaneTrades applies automated redaction controls before storage, model processing, administrator display, and support handoff. DaneTrades does not automatically use customer Support Assistant transcripts to train or fine-tune an AI model. Redacted conversation content and relevant support context can be processed by an AI model provider acting as a service provider to generate a response. We require service providers to handle information under contractual and security safeguards.
Do not enter passwords, API secrets, access or refresh tokens, Telegram login codes, session data, private keys, or full payment-card details into the Support Assistant. Customers should not submit secrets in the first place.
12) Human Support Handoff
The Support Assistant does not automatically create a support request. When you explicitly choose to continue to human support, the handoff can include a concise redacted conversation summary, relevant customer-safe workspace context, completed troubleshooting steps, account or copier labels, and public Trade Activity references or safe error information relevant to the issue. The handoff does not include the entire transcript. Where the product provides a handoff preview, you can review it before it is submitted to our support provider.
13) Service Messages and Marketing
We may send account, security, billing, service-status, and other operational communications that are necessary to administer the Service or your relationship with DaneTrades.
We may also send marketing communications where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service, security, billing, or account communications.
14) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights to:
- access personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
- request deletion of personal information in circumstances where the right applies;
- request restriction of certain processing;
- receive certain personal information in a portable format where the right applies;
- object to certain processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
- object at any time to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.
Your right to object: If we process your personal information on the basis of legitimate interests, you may have a right to object. You have the right to object at any time to processing for direct-marketing purposes.
To exercise a privacy right, withdraw consent, object, or raise a data-protection complaint with us, contact support@danetrades.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing some requests.
If you are in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can find complaint information at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
15) International Data Transfers
We serve users internationally and use service providers that may process personal information in different countries. Your information may therefore be transferred to or processed outside the UK or the country in which you live.
Where UK data-protection law requires a safeguard for a restricted international transfer, we use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another permitted safeguard, and we carry out transfer-risk assessment where required.
16) Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. These include access controls, service separation, encryption and restricted access for stored broker/platform credentials, security and access logging, and redaction controls intended to prevent secrets from appearing in normal logs, support views, or administrator tools.
No method of transmission, storage, or security control is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your DaneTrades login and the credentials you provide to connected platforms confidential and for contacting us promptly if you believe your DaneTrades account or a connected credential has been compromised.
17) Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
18) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our products, data practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version on the Website and update the last-updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before using personal information for a materially different purpose.
